Damon is one of the leading murrine artists of our time and one of the best paperweight artists in the world. 

This example features the complexity, aesthetic appeal, and the detail for which MacNaught has been celebrated, with four rows of canes alternating complex, simple, and tube canes in a complex concentric pattern. The choice in color is subtle but effective and when viewed, the eye wanders, exploring the intricate patterns of the overall setup and finally to the individual canes.
