We are most familiar with the planets in our astrology chart. The planets move and were known as the ‘wandering stars’. However the fixed stars show only a small amount of movement over time and hence became known as ‘fixed’ as they are constant.
Because they do not move, the stars are classed as the ‘eighth sphere’ they are thought of as divine. So for some ancient thoughts the stars were likened to the ‘sphere of god’ or the divine and therefore hold a key point in our connection to it. When a star is in alignment with a key planet or placement in your chart it infuses that point or planet with starlight adding an extra dimension of meaning to the placement. It’s a magical celestial conversation.
