2023 is the 70th anniversary of the first manufacture of New Zealand's iconic Pineapple Chunks by Rainbow Confectionery (originally called Regina) in Oamaru.

Although the original recipe has been changed slightly so that it contains 15% pineapple juice, Pineapple Chunks still taste just as good as the original, and even better, they are gluten free.
